Living Beyond War

The book "Living Beyond War," a comprehensive statement of how Beyond War can bring about a world beyond war, is available for pre-order on Amazon. As of April 3, Amazon is saying that it will take 4 to 7 weeks to obtain the book, but a number of people have ordered through Amazon and received the book much more quickly. As soon as 8 to 10 people sign up, we will begin what I expect will be a profound and exciting dialogue--one of the major reasons i wrote the book was to be able to have just s… Continue

Why I stick with Beyond War

What I find in Beyond War that I have not found anywhere else in so complete and clear a form is the opportunity to participate with others in the challenge of self-evolution—in moving ourselves to a place where war is wholly unacceptable able on any level from the personal to the global. One key, perhaps THE key, is the principle “We Are One on This Planet.” This principle is obviously true on the objective level, such as the fact that we all breathe the same air. But it is also true on a much… Continue

Jonathan Schell has written a brilliant article about the present moment.

Obama and the Return of the Real By Jonathan Schell This article appeared in the February 9, 2009 edition of The Nation. Yes, I've heard her name before but don't know her. Do you ever get back to Maine much?

Hi, Winslow-
My husband Jim and I live in Bristol, VT. We moved here from Maine about 15 years ago. Thanks for your response! Your dad was such a wonderful gent, kind, thoughtful and wise. I especially loved his ties, and have been after my husband to wear one, but no such luck. Best, Jennifer.

Hi, Winslow-
You may remember me from the early days of Beyond War. I was introduced to the work by Delia Mae Farris, and met Eola Ball and company for my orientation. Then after a couple of years I became a leader for BW in Maine, while attending the University of Maine. I also knew your dad, as we acted together for productions in the Lincoln County Community Theater back in the 80's. Are you living in Stowe now? I want to reconnect with Beyond War and share my own work with the Earth Healing Institute. The time of the lone wolf is over, and I really want to connect with other like minded people in the spirit of 'good works supporting good works'. I look forward to re-connecting! Be well, Jennifer.

HI Winslow,
Leonora Perron suggested that at a team meeting, portions of your book could be read aloud and discussed. Is it possible for you to send it to me? Hope you are enjoying the summer.
