Today's 200th meeting of the 16-year-old Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue

Hours before the 200th meeting of our local Dialogue, we send our condensed memories of helping move life beyond war. It seems that not only our DNA, but our more recent roots in new social intelligence and movement are in Africa and the Middle East. Libby and Len,
Have you heard about our exciting connection with UNESCO????
You can read about it on the Lane Co team page or in Forums.
Martin Jones and I with others here, hope to be a conduit for building collaborative efforts between BW and UNESCO. Martin may be calling you soon to ask if the two of you would want to collaborate with Steve Shankman here at University of Oregon. As the Chair of the only UNESCO branch in the USA, he would like to start a program for a graduate student certificate in intercultural conflict resolution. He is just beginning to try to figure out how to put that together. He imagines that the students would spend some time abroad after initial training here.
What are your thoughts???
We have another meeting time set up with him for Friday February 6th at 1pm on campus and hope to bring with us some concrete ideas for collaborative projects.
Thanks so much for the work you do. I admire from a distance but would love to be able to see it first hand.
