Creating a bibliography of books and films for children

We are beginning a bibliography of books and films for children that reflect Beyond War ideas. We will group the materials into categories based on the ages of the children: preschool to grade 3, grades 4-6, middle school, and high school.

There is an excellent book available that will help us begin, but please suggest any books or films that you know of to include in the list. The book is:
A Parent/Teacher Guide to Children's Books on Peace and Tolerance: Preschool-High School, by Bob Blumenthal. I am using it to begin the list, but if any of you are particularly interested in books for young people, I highly recommend it. Not too many libraries own the book, but I noticed that it is available to buy over the Internet.

Anne, is there a place to add books to a list??? Somewhere I have heard that Dr Suess' BITTER BUTTER BATTLE (or something close to that) is on the list. A great choice it is. Quite a spoof of the ridiculous over responses we can have to differences between cultures.
