Criteria for Books in the Library Display and Current Reviews

I hope we could use this space to post the reviews of the books that have been completed so far. As I understand it, most of them were found to NOT convey a beyond war message. It would be good if we could discuss and develop some criteria that we would want books & DVDs to meet in order to be part of the display. I'm not sure they all have to convey our entire message, but we should be able to connect the message of the material to some part of our message.

There were a number of books and movies that were approved of by the students. If you look at the Excel attachment I put on my discussion opener, you will see the student responses. Also attached there are the criteria I gave the students to consider. Unfortunately, the student reviews are not in electronic form to make them easy to post.

We can get the student work into electronic form if it appears valuable to upload for review.

Also, we have the ability to add a "wiki" to this online community center. That could be very useful for people to collaborate on the review process. We can show items reviewed and to-be-reviewed, and post and edit reviews. That sometimes is more manageable than a discussion forum.

A wiki sounds like a good idea. I tried to review the Excel list, but did not study it well, and I was not quite clear on what it represented. I'll take another look.
