Violence is the real life learning’s of a prison psychologist on the topic of violence through his interactions with prison inmates, or who he comes to call the living dead because of their loss of connection with humanity as well as the fact that they are going to spend the rest of their lives incarcerated. He contributes what he has learned in a very academic way while keeping the technical terms to a minimum and still giving the background to how he gathered the conclusion. It is very science based for more solid minded people which is good for this very theoretical topic. I would recommend it for anyone interested in physiology as well as law enforcement for some sort of understanding of some violent people.
I have no real idea how or what category that this book has to do with the beyond war series, I would like to understand where the idea came from because the book is very interesting. I can see how someone might think it fits because it deals with how violence comes about as well as the process that makes it real, but real application to the principles and themes seems very distant.
